Presenter Information
Concurrent Talks
Each talk has an allotted 20 minutes presentation time. Time limits will be strictly enforced, and talks that run over time will be cut off to allow time for the next speaker to prepare, and for audience members to move between sessions.
As in previous ASSC meetings we strongly encourage presenters to use their own laptop for their presentations. If you do not have your own laptop with you, please put your talk on a CD or memory stick and arrange to transfer it to the laptop of the person presenting before or after you. Presentation rooms will be equipped with a LCD projector (no overhead projector will be available).
Please arrive to the presentation room at least 30min before your session starts to test the presentation equipment.
MAC users: please make sure to bring the adaptor to connect your video output to a standard LCD projector.
Posters
Maximum poster dimensions: 4 ft. x 4 ft. (122 cm x 122 cm).
The boards will be white TACK boards; please supply your own tacks and/or pins (tape, glue and other adhesives are not to be used on the poster boards).
Posters should be put up in the morning between 8:00 and 8:30 (the conference starts at 8:30) on your assigned day. The posters should be taken down that day between 19:30 and 20:00 (the conference ends each day at 19:30). That way people can view the posters all day (even though the presenters are only required to attend between 11:00 and 13:00)
